McKinney Ladies
Association (MLA), formerly, Stonebridge Ranch Ladies
Association (SRLA), invites you to become an active
member of this civic organization which has a direct
impact on students and families in our McKinney
community. We believe in community, heart, home and
happiness. We also believe in having fun each step of
the way. Our organization has been named Civic
Organization of the Year and Volunteer Organization of
the year previously by Hope’s Door, because of the
commitment and dedicated members.
Each year we raise monies at our annual
Fall/Spring yard sales and Fashion Show which provide
scholarships to the Collin College Foundation, McKinney
Fire and Police department and donate to organizations
in the community that give to families whom may need
assistance. Our efforts are only as great as our
membership. Over the past several years, we have been
blessed to have many committed members who donate their
time and energies to help us carry out our mission. We
could not do it without our members’ continual support
and experience.
We hope to see you at one of our monthly meetings; you
can experience the joy of helping others and meet some
incredible ladies.
Sign up for MLA 11-12 via mail. Make sure
you don’t miss any of the fun. Send in your check for
$50 before Sept. 1st or $25 after Feb. 1st made payable
to MLA, for your 2011-2012 MLA membership to MLA PO Box
1972, McKinney 75070. (please note, our "year" is from
September to May)

January 9, 2012
– Make and Take at Edwards Floral Designs (1715 W.
Louisiana Street, 75069), 7:00pm
Stacy Edwards will demonstrate how to make a
gorgeous centerpiece in a just a few easy steps.
Cost to make $25, cost to watch, free. Outreach
Project: re-gifts to support MLA’s Fashion Show gift
basket silent auction.
February 13,
2012 – That Elegant Touch and Day Spa (3090
Laura Ln., 75070), 7:00pm. Presentation by:
Mommies Ala Mode. They are passionate about
empowering women to live their best lives! They take
a holistic approach to creating a simpler way of
life by focusing on the three most essential
ingredients in order to live more simply and
abundantly. Join us to find out what the three
essential ingredients are. Outreach Project:

March 5, 2012
– Annual Fashion Show, Eldorado Country Club (2604
Country Club Drive, 75070), 6:00pm Enjoy an
evening out with friends, bid an some fabulous
silent auction items and see some of the latest
fashion. This year’s beneficiary is Community Life
Line Center.
April 9, 2012
– Baylor Medical Center at McKinney. Meet at Con
Queso (SE corner of Lake Forest and 380/University
in the plaza next to the gas station) at 7:00pm
sharp for drinks and appetizers and for tour
instructions. Come take a hard hat tour of the
newest hospital in McKinney. Outreach Project: My
Friend’s House. Please bring children's personal
hygiene items - kids toothpaste/tooth brushes,
diapers, wipes, baby/kids shampoo for example.
May 5 2012
– Annual Spring Yard Sale at the Stonebridge United
Methodist Church parking, 7:00am – 12:00pm. For only
a $1.00, which goes to the MLA’s Scholarship Fund,
shoppers can find many treasures from over 120

– Nan Lee Downtown VIP event, 7:00pm. Outreach
Project: SPCA. Please visit the
